ABONEMA, Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria – In obedience to President Muhammadu Buhari’s order to deal ruthlessly with any voter that snatches ballot box during the election, the Nigerian Army 6 Division has killed one electorate in Abonema, Ward 10 Rivers State.

President Buhari who was addressing a gathering of the All Progressive Congress(APC) said interalia : “Anybody who decides to snatch boxes or lead thugs to disturb the election, may be that would be the last unlawful action you would take

“I have given the military and police the order to be ruthless. I am going to warn anybody who thinks he would lead a body of thugs in his locality to snatch boxes or to disturb the voting system; he would do it at the expense of his/her own life”.

The irony in the whole scenario is that the young many, identified as Thywill Dabotubo  was shot while performing his civic duties, the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has reported on twitter.

According to PDP, he was shot while perfoming his civic duty, no ballot box snatching, the PDP said.
