ABUJA, Nigeria – Presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria(ANN), Fela Durotoye has said that if he is elected president, he will ensure that the banks design the curriculum that the universities and polythecnics will use in preparing the students ahead for jobs in the banking sector.

He said today even graduates of banking and finance, economics and other relevant courses are made to undergo 10 weeks or so of intensive training after they are employed by the banks because they were not prepared for jobs in the financial institutions.

He said if he is elected, the banks and other financial institutions will design the curriculum for the schools such that by the time the students graduate they will be adequately prepared for jobs in the financial sector.
