LEKKI, Lagos, Nigeria – It was a gathering of philanthropists, industrialists, business moguls, activists, eminent personalities, media, friends, family and well wishers to celebrates the chairman and Chief Executive Officer of one of Nigeria’s largest conglomerates, Eleganza Group, Chief (Dr.) Rasaq Okoya.
A jumat prayer service was observed on the 11th of January 2019, a day to his birthday while the dinner held on 12th .
The dinner party took place in his magnificent and outlandish estate, “Oluwa Ni Sola” (The Lord creates wealth ) Estate at Lekki/Ajah Expressway in Lagos, wife of the celebrant Chief (Dr.) Mrs Sade Okoya was on ground to entertain their guests.
Chief Rasaq Okoya celebrates the goodness of God in his life as he turns 79 and he hosted over 5000 Muslims, giving out cloth, packed food, bread, garri and rosary cash gift to Muslims. Two events were held to herald the day.
The event kicked-off with Jumat prayer service and the recitation of the Holy Quran by the clergy, the event began with guests joyfully going to the Alfas in their numbers with gifts to curry prayer for the celebrant.
