LAGOS, Nigeria – One of the leading comedian in Nigeria, Bright Okpocha better known as Basket Mouth has joined the league of filmmakers and he is coming in with a horror film, The Exorcism of Alu.
Basket Mouth who made the revelation on the social media said he has been working on the film for six years now but kept it low since everyone he told doubted his ability to make the film.
“Today, I present to you, The Exorcisim of Alu”, he said about the film which has been classifed 18 by the National Film and Video Censors Board(NFVCB). The film will be in the cinema soon.
“For 6yrs I’ve been working on my very first feature film, my most challenging project. I kept it on the low because everyone I told, doubted my ability to pull it off. Today, I present to you……The Exorcism of Alu, a horror/thriller movie.

Basket Mouth, one of the most versatile comedian completed his primary and secondary school education in Apapa (Lagos, Nigeria) and then moved on to pursue a degree at the University of Benin where he studied sociology and anthropology.
In 2005 and 2006 Basketmouth won the National Comedy Award and the awards for Best Stand-up Comedian of the Year. On February 14, 2017 to mark valentine’s day, Bright had a sold out concert in the famous Wembley arena which made people consider him to be one of the greatest comedians to come out of Africa.
