LAGOS, Nigeria – Proponent of ghetho music, Daddy Showkey is angry with Nigerians who are questioning him after he purchased a Mercedez Benz G class otherwise called G wagon. The musician went to the social media to challenge those who are asking about his source of wealth and where he got the money to buy the vehicle. Showkey did not disclose how much he purchased the vehicle but a 2018 G Wagon costs as much as N100 to N165 million.
The musician appealed to Nigerians not to be angry with those that receive God’s blessing, stressing that it is one after the other. He wrote “When God is doing something you will know that God is God, if never do yaa own no vex for another man own because yaa own time dey come”, he said.
He did not however hide his annoyance for those who envy him. He was so angry that he said in a video, “you look me finish and say, how I get money to buy G Wagon go and call EFCC”, he challenged those who are not happy about his success.
“I want to let them know if na thier papa give me money to buy Gwagon or na their mama give me money. A G Wagon cost between N165 to N100 million for a new G Wagon But a Nigerian used G Wagon cost as much as N65million for a 2014 model, N10.5 million for 2011 model to N3.6 million for 2002 model.
