ABUJA, Nigeria – Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke was today arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, Nigeria.
He was arraigned on four count charge bordering on examination malpractices and impersonation. In the charge sheet, the Nigeria Police alleged that Senator Adeleke presented himself as a student of Ojo-Aron Community Grammar School in Osun state in 2017.
Meanwhile, he has been granted bail on self recognition by the presiding judge, Justice I.E Ekwo but he was order deposit his international passport with the registrar. The judge also ordered him to sign a bond stating that he will always be present at subsequent trial.
Justice Ekwo has adjourned the matter to December 17, 18 and 19, 2018 for hearing.
