JUBILATION IN OJODU AS SANWO-OLU DEFEATS AMBODE

IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – There was jubilation this morning among members of the All Progressive Congress(APC) as result of the primary election in Ojodu Local Council Development Area were announced.




At Ikeja, Ojodu, Ward B, the election was peaceful with Segun Daramola as Returning Officer. In the ward, Sanwo-olu scored 1, 769 votes to defeat Governor Akinwunmi Ambode who scored just 47 votes.

The electorates celebrated the result of the primary, as shouts of Ambode must go rent the air. Among the electorates in the ward are James Abiodun Faleke, who is running for House of Representatives and Cardinal James Odunbaku.

For them, it was a fait accompli. There was music and alot of dancing. Odunbaku describes Ambode as a saddist, adding that 38 commissioners lost their job in one day.
