MINNA, Niger, Nigeria – Former military Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida(IBB) has said that he would prefer a president who will spend his time in Nigeria and deal with Nigerians.
IBB was reacting to insinuation that candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar cannot travel to the United States for his alleged involvement in the Hallibuton scandal.
But the former leader said that he will prefer a president who will spend most of his time dealing with Nigerians in Nigeria, not someone who already knows the route to all the countries like a pilot.

It has been brought to my understanding that Atiku cannot travel to some part of the world; well, I think I will prefer a President who will spend most of his time dealing with Nigerians in Nigeria, not a someone who already knows the route to all the countries like a Pilot”, IBB said on tweeter.
