LAGOS, Nigeria – Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has picked former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi as his running mate. Atiku picked him after a meeting with him and Director General of his campaign organisation, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.
Born July 19, 1961, Peter Obi was a member of Nigeria’s economic management team for 4 years under President Goodluck Jonathan. A graduate of Philosophy, he was chairman of Nigerian Security and Exchange Commission(NSE).
Peter Obi took courses at Lagos Business School on Marketing and Changing the Game at Harvard Business School. He was also at the London School of Economics where he studied Business Policy and Financial Management and many more.
He also attended Cambridge and Oxford’s business schools for Advanced Leadership Programs. He is chairperson of many companies and has held position at Fidelity Bank, Future Views Securities, Paymaster Nigeria and Next International.
He was also chairman at Fidelity Bank and also served as a director at Guardian Express Bank, Charms Nigeria, Emerging Capital and Card Centre.
