LAGOS, Nigeria – Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi, who has in the past played amorous roles in movies but has now embraced Christianity, changing her way of life is terribly sad. She is so depressed and shattered by the behaviours of Nigerian youths that she said, ‘Jesus is also weeping’. As she puts it, some even claim to be Christian but deny the faith by their grooming.
In the despiration to become celebrities, most of the youths have abandoned morals and go about almost naked, some even show off their private parts on the social media. As she puts it, some have even transformed themselves from males to females and vice versa and go a step further to post photographs of their nakedness on the social media without thinking about what the future holds for them.
“Truth be told , it’s so scary the way our generation is carrying on without a hoot about decency nor righteous living neither reverence for GOD . Indulging in all manners of immorality , to the point that we don’t even know now who is a woman or man , videoing themselves naked and posting on social media , not thinking that this post could haunt them in the future .
According to her, nobody remains a youth forever and she is taking this write up to warn the youths to have a rethink before it is too late.
“Nor realising that they are future leaders . ( Have you ever seen the throne given to a drunkard )Taking drugs , damaging their nerves . Some even claim they are Christians and outside of church building , their pastors will be shocked to see what they do or how they dress . Oh Jesus is weeping !!!
“Listen up , you may just be sniggering at this write up but whether you like it or not , this your supposed youthfulness pushing you about like a pendulum , will wane one day and you will look back on all the immoral acts you indulged in and say : oh I wish I never did that or somebody cautioned me . For the life we live now , will surely give birth to dignity or indignity in the future . And how horrific it be for those who are playing Christianity ( having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof – behaving and living contrary to christian ways )”, she said.

And boy , that got me thinking and meditating as I normally do . Then this scripture flew into my mind – Ecclesiates 11 : 9 – 10 : rejoice , o young man in thy youth ; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth , and walk in the ways of thine heart , and in the sight of thine eyes : but know thou , that for all these things God will bring thee into judgement. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart and put away evil from thy flesh , for childhood and youth are vanity !!
