ALAUSA, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria – Afrobeat King, Femi Kuti has announced his return to Positive Force. Femi Kuti started his musical career with his father’s band, Egypt 80. In 1986, he formed the Positive Force with Dele Sosimi.

His father, Fela Anikulapo Kuti died August 2, 1997, leaving one of his children, Seun to carry on with the Egypt 80 band.

Femi later moved Afrika Shrine from Pepple Street, inside Computer Village to Hakeem Bello Street, Agidingbin, within the Alausa Central Business District(CBD). He performed in the shrine for a while but irreconciliable difference best known to him kept him away from Afrika Shrine for a while.

In announcing his return to the Positive Force, Femi said the Afrika Shrine, which few months ago played host to French President, Emmanuel Macron will be bursting with pure energy this week.
