ABUJA, Nigeria – The Nigerian Police has arrested sacked Director General of the Department of State Services, Mr. Musa Lawal Daura.He was detained by the police following his sack by Acting President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, who has described the blockade as completely unacceptable.
Lawal Daura was sacked after a short meeting with the Acting President and Inspector General of the Nigerian Police, Ibrahim Idris. We gathered that he Musa Lawal Daura was detained by Federal SARS shortly after his dismissal by the Vice President.
News available has it that DG SSS, M Daura has been detained by Federal SARS for the failed legislative coup.
Meanwhile, there is said to be jubilation in the SSS following the sack of the DG. Former DG, National Human Rights Commission, Professor Chidi Odinkalu said on the social media.
He said that the sack of DG is small news but that the big news is that staff of the agency are jubilating.
