LAGOS, Nigeria – Rhythm and Blues crooner, 2Face is angry with his former band member, Blackface and he has dragged him to court demanding N50 million as damages for defaming his character.
Blackface has been very loud on social media for sometime now claiming that 2Face stole his lyrics “Let somebody love you and Africa Queen”.
Worried by the development, 2Face and his manager, Efe Omorogbe decided to sue for damages. Listed as defendant in the suit is Ahmedu Augustine. The suit was filed February 28 at the Lagos High Court, Ikeja division.
The matter has not been assigned to any judge.
Blackface revealed the development on his instagram page and he added that it is time for him and his legal team to file defence after which he will release his album.
