LAGOS, Nigeria – The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has blamed President Muhammadu Buhari for continued bloodshed by herdsmen, stressing that his failure to address and bring to book the perpetrators has embolden them to continue the endless killings.

The PDP said the killings would have long been averted but for the refusal of President Muhammadu Buhari and his party to adhere to wise counsel from the PDP and well meaning Nigerians.

The party described the killing of hundreds of Nigerians including armless children by the herdsmen as unacceptable, regrettable, sad and highly condemnable.

“President @MBuhari’s failure to address and bring to book, the perpetrators of this killings and bloodletting in various parts of the country is what has strengthened the insurgents and marauders to further attack and kill defenseless Nigerians

“The killings would have been averted except for the refusal of President @MBuhari and his failed and dysfunctional Party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) @APCNigeria to adhere to wise counsel by the PDP and other well meaning Nigerians.

“The gruesome killings of over hundreds of innocent Nigerians in Plateau state communities by marauders on Sunday is unacceptable, regrettable, sad and highly condemnable. @APCNigeria”, the party said.
