IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – A 51 year old man known as Godwin Akpan Udofia was today paraded by the Lagos State Police Command in Ikeja, for defiling his six year old daughter.
Akpan, who lives at Modupe Street, Off Balogun Street, Ikeja, Lagos defiled the six year old girl by constantly fingering the girl to satisfy his emotional needs.
According to Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Mr. Edgal Imohimi, preliminary investigation by the gender section revealed that the suspect brought the survivor to Lagos in January from Akwa Ibom State where she was living with her mother, who works as a farmer in Ikot-Ekpene.
“The suspect normally keeps the child with one Mama Winner of the Redeeed Christian Chrushc of God anytime he is going to work”, but that on the 25th of May, 2018, when the suspects came to pick his daughter, the little girl refused to follow him and revealed when asked that she goes through sexual ordeal in the hands of her father who cannot resist the urge to finger her.
When interrogated, the suspect blamed the devil for his behaviour.
