LAGOS, Nigeria – The President of a Real Estate Network Marketing company, Property World African Network (PWAN) Homes Ltd, Mr Augustine Onwumere has said that housing for all Nigerians is achievable. Onwumere made the assertion in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
He contended that housing for all was visible through diligent contributions no matter the income of those concerned, adding that many had tapped into the savings method.
“When we were homeless and looking for a meager N3,000 to take a flat and instead of taking up the flat, we floated PWAN Homes and Properties. The scheme has now grown to have other companies attached to it with many investors making ownership of homes easier. It is common knowledge that Nigeria is a land where the social and economic gap between the rich and poor is very wide. It is against this background that we are building this estate to create happiness and social development, which is one of the challenges facing this country, he said.
Onwumere said that the mission of the company was to put smiles on the faces of all through its affordable schemes aimed at helping the less-privileged.
“Our vision and mission is to create happiness through our estates. What is particularly interesting is that Nigerians targeted for land and home ownership in this estate are people in the middle class. We are created to address the lack of social amenities, putting food on the tables of people and making them landlords of their own. Every Nigerian should be part of our success story, in fact we are proud to be the first to factor in marketing networking into real estate and this has led to new revolution.
“This is a movement that is changing lives and creating millionaires practically every week in these hard times”, he said.
