Top chef, Lorraine Pascale and TV presenter, coming to share her experience at the Gtbank Food and Drink Fair

LAGOS, Nigeria – Not less than seven top chefs have been lined up for the Gtbank Food and Drink Fair coming up in Lagos from 29th April to May 1, 2018. The chefs, which are some of the best in the world include Sunny Anderson, Scott Winston, Adetomi ‘Imoteda’ Aladeokomo, Sibahle Mtongana, Raphael Duntoye, Tony Conigliaro, and Lorraine Pascale.




Sunny Anderson is a bestselling author and Food Network Personality known for hosting popular shows such as; The Kitchen, Cooking for Real and How’d That Get On My Plate.

Renowned for a cooking style that combines classic comfort foods along with unique flavors inspired by her many travels, Sunny is the author of The New York Times bestseller Sunny’s Kitchen: Easy Food for Real Life.

Sunny is also a huge football fan and combined her love of food and the sport by inventing Infladium™, the world’s first inflatable snack stadium. She is currently working on more inventions and continues to travel, write recipes and donate time and funding to various charities.

On Sunday (3:30pm – 4:30pm), April 29th, Sunny Anderson will be at the GTBank Food and Drink where she will treat guests to an exciting Masterclass on how to make home cooking easy and exciting.

Scott Winston is a highly sort-after food business Consultant with over 20 years’ experience in the Luxury Food Retail Industry. He is the founder of Scott Winston Fine Food Consulting, which is a key member of the buying and retail teams at leading retail brands such as Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Selfridges.

Passionate about food and food business, Scott Winston started his career in fine food retail at Harvey Nichols Foodhall and rose quickly through the retail operations and purchasing ranks to reach the level of Buyer. He later joined the prestigious department store Harrods where he worked in different buyer roles and played a key role in organising and managing Harrods restaurant food buying across the 20 own-bought restaurants.

Scott also works as a Judge Arbitrator for the Great Taste Awards, one of the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink awards, which is organized by the Guild of Fine Foods.

On Sunday (5:00pm – 6:00pm), April 29th, Scott Winston will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Fair to facilitate a Masterclass on how to build a successful Food Business.

Adetomi ‘Imoteda’ Aladeokomo is a Nigerian Chef and co-owner of Eko Street Eat, a company that specializes in bringing innovative twists to Nigerian street food.

Trained at Le Cordon Bleu, Chef Imoteda is also an Instructor and host of two TV shows, Urban Kitchen and Heels in the Kitchen. When she is not training budding chefs or presenting food shows on TV, Chef Imoteda is busy curing the Nigerian Fusion Food Tour. Now in its third year, the tour aims to celebrate the richness of Nigerian cuisine by taking it around the world.

On Sunday (12:30pm – 1:30pm), April 29th, Chef Imoteda will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Fair to facilitate a Masterclass on the Art of Plating. Also on the list is Chef Sibahle Mtongana, an award winning chef, best-selling author and TV personality best known for the popular show Siba’s Table, which airs in over 130 countries.

Sibahle started exploring the world of food during her early years in East London when her diabetic mom encouraged her to take a healthier and natural approach to cooking. This led her to pursue a degree in Food and Consumer Science at Cape Technikon after which she worked for the Drum Magazine, later rising to the position of its Food Editor.

In 2017, Sibahle won 3 international awards at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in China and was recognized by US Film and Television Awards for her cooking show Siba’s Table. She is also passionate about ending global hunger and actively participates in global campaigns such as Rise against Hunger for which she is a Global Impact Ambassador.

On Tuesday (1:00pm – 2:00pm), May 1st, Sibahle Mtongana will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Fair to facilitate a Masterclass on succeeding as an African chef on the global stage.

Also coming to the Gtbank Food and Drink Fair is Chef Raphael Duntoye. He is the Chef Patron of La Petite Maison, a popular upscale French Mediterranean restaurant with outlets in London, Dubai, Miami, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Istanbul.

Renowned for his lightness of touch and reverence for the best fresh produce, Chef Raphael began his culinary journey in 1995 when he left a career in engineering to follow a life-long passion for food and cooking.

Chef Raphael joined the Butlers Wharf Chef School in 1995 and following his graduation, spent the next five years earning his culinary stripes under the mentorship of Pierre Koffman, one of UK’s most celebrated Chefs of all time. He later served as Executive Sous Chef at Sketch in Mayfair and as a Senior Sous Chef at the Japanese restaurant Zuma in Knightsbridge, London.

In 2007, Chef Raphael opened the first La Petit Maison in Mayfair, London and has since then expanded the award winning restaurant to 5 other major metropolitan cities across the world.

On Tuesday (4:00pm – 5:30pm), May 1st, Chef Raphael will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Fair to facilitate a Masterclass on how to build a successful culinary career

Tony Conigliaro has assured the organisers of his presence during the fair. He is known for his unique perspective on the art of cocktail making. A multiple award-winning mixologist, his creations bring together the realms of art, perfume, food and liquid flavor to create drinks that are anything but traditional.

An authority in all things liquid, Conigliaro’s love for the art of drink making informed his decision to establish The Drink Factory; a collective of like-minded mixologists and other individuals outside the industry who come together and exchange ideas regarding research and development on drinks.

After working in some of London’s most esteemed restaurant bars, such as the award-winning Shochu Lounge, Tony opened his first solo bar in London and later The Zetterhouse bars which won the Best New Bar in the World in Tales of the Cocktail 2013.

Tony is also a critically acclaimed author, with one of his books, DRINKS, winning America’s prestigious James Beard Award for Best Beverage Book.

On Tuesday, May 1st (6:00pm – 7:00pm), Tony Conigliaro will be sharing professional tips on how to become a master in mixology at the GTBank Food and Drink Fair.

Coming from Britain is Lorraine Pascale, a British Chef, bestselling author and presenter of multiple TV programmes which air in over 70 countries worldwide.

The first Black British fashion model to appear on the cover of American Elle, Lorraine decided to follow her real passion- cookery and enrolled for Leith’s Diploma of food and wine course. She later graduated with a first class honours degree in Culinary Arts Management at London’s University of West London.

Lorraine Pascale’s mastery of baking has earned her international appeal and accolades. She has been a judge on the UK version of My Kitchen Rules, Food Network’s Holiday Baking Championship in the US and in March 2015, co-hosted one of the UK’s biggest TV programmes, The Nation’s Favourite Food.

Lorraine also runs a successful blog where she shares her recipes for baking as well as tips for those wishing to embark on a journey to a healthy lifestyle.

On Sunday (2:00pm – 3:00pm), April 29th, Lorraine Pascale will be at the GTBank Food and Drink where she will treat guests to an exciting Masterclass on how to make the perfect desserts.
