MOSCOW – Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his annoyance following coordinated attacks on Syria following allegations of chemical attacks without authorisation of the United Nations Security Council.




Overnight the United States, U.K, France and its allies rained over 110 missiles on Syria hitting targets with a lot of casualties. The attacks came even as Russia called for investigation into allegations of chemical attacks even as it described the allegation as fake and orchestrated for selfish reason.

Russia’s Sputnik news agency reported Putin as saying that thee US and its allies’ missiles aggression on the military facilities and infrastructure in Syria without authorization of the UNSC is considered a breach of the UN charter and the principles of the international law and an aggression against a sovereign state that is in the frontline of combating terrorism.

He said the US behaviors could aggravate the humanitarian catastrophe in Syria and the suffering of the civilians and called for urgent UNSC session to discuss the US and its allies’ strike on Syria.”
