MOSCOW, Russia – President Vladimir Putin of Russia has said that his country has developed a nuclear powered missile with a capability to “reach anywhere in the world”.

Putin who was speaking in his State of the Nation Address in Moscow said specifically that the missile has unlimited reach and is undetectable or rather invisible.

In the course of the speech, Putin showed a vide of a range of weapons, including the missile he said could “reach anywhere in the world” and that the missile could not be stopped by the US shield in Europe and Asia.

He also spoke of two nuclear-capable weapons – a cruise missile and a submarine-launched unmanned underwater vehicle.
He said the warhead was a low-flying, difficult-to-spot cruise missile with a nuclear payload with a practically unlimited range and an unpredictable flight path, which can bypass lines of interception and is invincible in the face of all existing and future systems of both missile defence and air defence.”

He said that Russia had reacted after years of pleading with the US not to break away from anti-missile treaties.
