JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Networks Unlimited, a leading value-added distributor within the Sub-Saharan Africa market, today announced it has joined the Carbon Black partner programme as a Value Added Distributor (VAD). Carbon Black is a leader in next-generation endpoint security.

The partnership will see Networks Unlimited become one of Carbon Black’s Solutions Provider Partners, enhancing its extensive cyber security offering with Carbon Black’s suite of best-in-class next generation endpoint security solutions to help customers detect, prevent, and respond to the most advanced cyberattacks.

“Next-gen endpoint protection and EDR solutions are critical to companies who want to move away from outdated and ineffective products,” said Anton Jacobsz, managing director at Networks Unlimited.

“Carbon Black is a perfect fit in our current solutions offering as the company has carved a leadership position in the defence and protection space on a global scale and its products are heavily awarded, with accolades issued by industry stalwarts such as Network World Asia, SC Media, The Forbes Cloud 100 list, OPSWAT, and Frost and Sullivan.”

As a Value Added Distributor, Networks Unlimited will join a select group of resellers and distributors with access to Carbon Black’s award winning solution:, Cb Defense, Cb Response, Cb Protection and Cb Predictive Security Cloud™.

“Using security services like NGAV, EDR and Threat Hunting, the Cb Predictive Security Cloud provides better protection from emerging attacks through constant, real-time analysis; simplified operations using a single agent and extensible, cloud-based data platform; and faster response to real threats, with less time sifting through noise,” said Jacobsz.

“We look forward to seeing how well this leader of next-gen endpoint security with a comprehensive EDR will be adopted in Sub-Saharan Africa.”
