LONDON, U.K – In a world first, Delta Air Lines has debuted an interactive billboard that dispenses complimentary prosecco at Boxpark, Shoreditch

The pop-up offers Londoners a taste of the high life to celebrate the launch of complimentary Avissi Prosecco in Delta’s Main Cabin on all international flights. Visitors are required to use the ‘Push for Prosecco’ button and a complimentary glass of chilled fizz will appear, putting them firmly in the holiday spirit. Londoners will also be able to kick back and enjoy their drink in the comfort of the outdoor lounge, inspired by the airline’s signature Delta Sky Deck.

Nadia Clinton, Delta Air Lines’ Country Manager UK and Ireland, said: “To toast the holidays, we’re thrilled to be bringing our five-star experience to London, at a time when the popularity of prosecco in the U.K. continues to climb. The addition of prosecco for our Main Cabin economy class customers is one of many enhancements Delta is making onboard allowing everyone to start their trip in style.”

Delta introduced prosecco in Main Cabin and Delta Comfort+ on all international flights this autumn, bringing more choice to the in-flight experience throughout the aircraft.

This enhancement followed a successful launch on U.S. domestic flights earlier this year, where customers are able to enjoy complimentary prosecco in Delta Comfort+ and are able to purchase in the Main Cabin.

Recently, Delta also became the first U.S. global carrier* to offer free mobile messaging, enabling passengers to stay connected and exchange real time messages at 30,000ft.
