ABUJA, Nigeria – Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu narrowly escapes unhurt when gunmen invaded his home on Tuesday night.
This is the second time in 4 months that gunmen will be attacking his home.According to The Nation, a police security guard on duty at Magu’s home was killed by the assailants.
The gunmen reportedly stormed his farmhouse in Karshi in the Federal Capital Territory at about 10pm and exchanged fire with the policemen on duty and killed one in the process.
The gunmen struck just a day after Magu declared that the anti-corruption war was a do or die affair.
