The U.S Navy ship in search and rescue operation in the Philippine sea

WASHINGTON – The U.S Navy has recovered eight persons from the C2-A Grayhond which crashed in the Philippine Sea.




The U.S Navy aircraft, C2-A Graybond was carrying 11 passengers when it crashed into the sea. Search and rescue is ongoing, the U.S Navy has said, adding that those rescued have been handed over to the USSRonaldRegan for medical attention and search is ongoing for the remaining three.
The Navy said those rescued are in good condition.
