LAGOS, Nigeria – Controversial musician, Davido has come out to reveal why he has not spoken even when there has been so much negative reports about him following the demise of his bosom friend Dagbo Umeke and reports his friend died of suffocation.
First it was Dagbo Umeke, who died just hours after both were spotted together at a club in Lekki, and later a disc jockey friend, D.J Olu, who died just when the musician is yet to get over the furore of the death of Dagbo.
But Davido says he has not spoken even when what he described as lies have continued to fly around. He said he desisted from speaking because of his respect for Dagbo, which he called Tagbo and his family but he said that will not continue.
He said he will soon release a statement and video footage to clear his name.
“Lies everywhere … due to respect for Tagbo and his family, I haven’t spoken about this issue since. Soon a statement and a footage will be released. Enough is enough. God bless you guys. Everyone be safe please”, he said.
In another quote, he said, ” My heart is rear and the world knows.Please God, keep my heart thesame. Please don’t give me a change of heart o Lord. I shall reman a giving being. Amen”, he said. But in another quote, he said Una go soon tire very soon.
Davido also spoke about his late friend D.J Olu. “Olu I swear tonite is for you. We killed shows together back to back for 4 years straight. A part of me is broken. Love you bro. God take control”, he said.
