IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – An 82 year old man, Ayoade Mobolaji was today arraigned before a Lagos Magistrate Court, sitting ikeja for alleged unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13 year old girl.
He was arraigned on one count charge of rape before Magistrate (Mrs) B.O. Osusanmi. He pleaded guilty to the charge.
The prosecutor, inspector, Simon Imhowwa, told the court that he committed the offence on September 25th, 2017 at No.26, Amosu Street, Obadore, Igando Lagos, punishable under section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.
The Magistrate, Mrs B.O. Osusanmi, granted him bail of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum who must be tax paying residents of Lafos. Magistrate ordered that the tax be verified.
