BROOKLYN, New York – Mr. Eazi has again showed why he remains Nigeria’s hottest export and rave of the moment as he turned up the heat with yet another electrifying performance at a star-studded Tidal third annual charity concert night on the 17th of October at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.




There was never a doubt that Mr. Eazi’s performance was one of the most anticipated of the night and he did not disappoint as he delivered an amazing performance as the only Nigerian artist to share the stage with Tidal owner Jay Z; Dj Khaled, Cardi B, Fat Joe, Stevie Wonder and many more industry veterans and newbies.

Mr Eazi pulled out all the stops as he gave a mind-blowing performance, thrilling the fans with his hit songs and dominant stage presence. His performance definitely earned him plaudits, cheers and numerous accolades from industry buffs, fans, and music critics from all over the world.

Proceeds from the show, which was broadcast live online, were donated towards the relief of those affected by Hurricanes Harvey, and Maria, as well as the earthquakes in Mexico.

ABOUT MR EAZI
Mr Eazi is a Nigerian Banku singer, songwriter and entrepreneur. Born Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, he spent his youthful and formative years in Ghana. Now he shuffles between Ghana and Nigeria very often because of music and personal business.

Mr Eazi is a Banku artist with a unique soulful tone, laid back delivery mixed with catchy hooks on Banku sound. This unique style has earned him his place in the music circles, propelled afro-beat music to the top of the charts and gained him global recognition. A list of some of his hit singles are Bankulize, Skintight, Shitor, Hollup, Sample You and the internet dance sensation Dance for Me, feat Eugy.

He has also collaborated with artists like award winning songstress Efya and Pappy Kojo from Ghana, and still has an arsenal of yet to be released songs with globally sensational artistes like Rita Ora and Wizkid. Mr Eazi is in partnership with Starboy Worldwide, a music record label whose CEO is afrobeats superstar Wizkid, and he is managed by Meister Music, a Ghanaian management label.

Ever since the hit single Bankulize propelled him into the limelight, he has been shutting down musical shows globally. Early this year ( March 2016 ) “Mr Eazi” headlined five(5) Ghana Independence shows in the UK, at venues in London, Liverpool, Leicester with each event scoring not less than 2000 in attendance. To top it all, in April 2016, Mr Eazi was handpicked by Miss Lauryn Hill to represent Ghana and perform at Lauryn Hills debut Event with Spotify dubbed “DIASPORA CALLING”.

As a differentiator to his brand as an artist, Mr Eazi connects with his fans in an intimate way by granting them an unforgettable musical experience. This he does with the #69withEazi event; #69withEazi is a live band musical session where Mr Eazi interacts with his fans and performs released and unreleased songs whilst narrating his journey as an artist. So far, Mr Eazi has staged two #69withEazi events, one in Ghana and the other in the UK scoring over 300 in attendance at each. These events have quadrupled his fan- base and built core fan loyalty for Mr Eazi music.

Presently, topping number one on the charts on Apple music is Mr Eazi and Eugy’s “DANCE FOR ME” collaboration. As it stands now it is without doubt the biggest Afro Summer Dance tune of 2016 by garnering over 1million streams on Spotify, 2 million streams on YouTube and over 1,000 dance video submissions from fans on all social media channels worldwide.

In 2017, Mr Eazi released his Mixtape Lagos to Accra to critical acclaim, and he also had a ‘Life is Eazi’ tour in the Uk, and he also performed at the TidalXBrooklyn Charity event.
