IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – Controversial musician, David Adeleke, better known as Davido today released the most talked about statement, claiming he was not responsible for the death of his bosom friend, Tagbo Umeke, neither did he pass instruction to anyone to dump his corpse at the Lagos Island General Hospital.
Davido who issued the statement through his lawyers, Norrison Quakers said the police ealier said that Davido has not been found culpable for the death of Tagbo Umeke and “this was earlier communicated by the police in a closed door meeting involving the Acting Commissioner of Police, Lagos, Davido and the family of the deceased”, his lawyers said.
” For the records, we wish to state that our client has not been found culpable for the death of Tagbo Umeke and this was earlier communicated by the police in a closed door meeting involving the Acting Commissioner of Police, Lagos, Davido and the family of the deceased.
“Our client was also not involved in the untimely death ofnthe deceased nor did he give any insteuction for anyone to dump the corpse of Mr. Tagbo Umeke anywhere”, Norrisom Quakers said.
