IKEJA,Lagos, Nigeria – Controversial musician, David Adeleke better known as Davido has been picked up by the Nigerian Police Force in connection with the death of his friend Dagbo Umeke.
We gathered that policemen picked him up upon discovery that the statement he earlier gave to the police was nothing but falsehood.
Davido, reportedly told a team of investigators at Lion Building division , Lagos Island , that he was not at Shisha bar ,contray to reports by popular photographer, Elejo, who said Davido left the bar with Dagbo. Society lady, Caroline Danjuma said she saw Davido dump Dagbo at the Lagos Island General,
Elejo also uploaded a video of Davido with Dagbo at Shisha bar.
Davido said in his statement at Lion Building that he had left the bar , for DNA night club in Victoria Island area of the state, from where he was informed about Umeke’s death.
But when briefing journalists on the update of the investigation, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police command, Imohimi Edgal, disclosed that preliminary investigation showed that late Umeke was rushed to the hospital on David’s instruction.
