IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – A 51 year old Landlord, Ishola Idris was today araigned before an Ikeja Magistrate Court for raping and sodomising a 13 year old girl.
The landlord was arraigned along with one tenant, Linus Okonkwo before Chief Magistrate Bolanle Olufunke Osunsanmi.
The landlord allegedly deflowered the girl, sodomised her and converted her into a sex tool, threatening to kill the girl if she dared to inform anybody. We gathered that the lady confessed under pressure when blood was spotted in her anus.
The landlord was said to have committed the offence in January at Igando.Both defendants reside at No. 30 Celestial Road Igando, Lagos.
The two count charged brought against the defendants reads: ” That you, Ishola Idris sometime in January 2017 at 30, Celestial Road, Igando Lagos in Lagos Magisterial District did unlawfully defiled one 13 years old girl child (name withheld) by having sexual intercourse with her.
” That you, Linux Okonkwo sometime in March 2017 at 30 Celestial Road, Igando Lagos in Lagos Magisterial District did unlawfully sexually assault one 13 years old by penetrating into her virginal with your penis.”
The alleged crime according to the police is punishable under section 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. They pleaded not guilty to the allegation. They were granted bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum. The matter was adjourned to October 12, 2017 for trial.
