LAGOS – Nigeria’s talented singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, better known as Iyanya has opened up on relationship with his former boss, Ubi Franklin.

Iyanya left Ubi Franklin when he had issues with him and joined Michael Collins Ajereh better known as Don Jazzy in Marvin Records. But since then there has been rumours online about the duo fighting eachother on the social media.

For instance, Ubi tweeted after BET award, “So one man said when I leave, you will suffer. But when you know, man is not God, just smile and keep working hard.”

Thereafter, Iyanya tweeted “Before you call someone your real friend, you better fast and pray…nobody needs old friends with evil intentions.”

But speaking recently to Stellademokokurkus, he said, “Why would people think that I’m not happy with Ubi’s success? It doesn’t make any sense. People just feel that whatever I tweet is directed at Ubi, and that whatever he says online is directed at me. That’s not so.

“We have all moved on with our lives. I do not fear anybody so if I want to talk about anybody, I would tag the person. If I don’t tag anybody in my social media posts, that means it’s just a general post and I’m not talking to anybody. People should just let it go. Sometimes, I post things because of what I heard or about life in general. I’ve got nothing but love for Ubi and Tekno right now.”

“I have been getting amazing responses from fans over my songs. I thank God that I’m still here and I’ve got more music coming out. Expect more songs, videos and collaborations from me. If anybody has a wife or baby mama for me, they should bring her.”
