LAGOS, Nigeria – Nigeria’s foremost Real Estate Exhibition and Trade Show – The TAG EXPO, with the theme; Meet, Invest, Secure– is launching its 2017 outing in two distinct locations this summer, in Houston Texas, USA and London, UK.

The second edition of the event, after the inaugural edition, which held in November last year at the Regent’s Park, Central London in the UK and which had 10 exhibitors, aims to become the largest Nigerian Real Estate exhibition show for Nigerians in diaspora.

According to Chief Marketing Officer, TAG Nigeria, Michael Ejoh, while addressing media representatives at the press conference to kick start the 2017 activities building up to the TAG EXPO summer experience, he said:

“Stakeholders in the Nigerian Real Estate market will get a chance at this year’s edition to network with Nigerians in USA and the UK, while presenting tailor-made property and Real Estate solutions that suit the needs of the Nigerian in diaspora.”

The TAG EXPO partner network includes top Real Estate organisations around the country who are a direct target reach for intending buyers in the diaspora, made up of Nigerians across different career fields seeking property investment in specified locations in the country.

“The goal of the EXPO upon its set up was to visit several locations over different periods of a given year, and the sequel to the first event was set for Houston Texas, United States of America. The proposed period is June 2017 which has bagged the tag ‘Summer 2017’.

“However, there has been a remarkable amount of feedback drawn from the UK sessions and a direct appeal to the team for a repeat. This is largely due to the fact that the UK winter edition was targeted at professional groups who were in attendance through designated representatives. This time, we have proposed a long term execution plan that will allow more individuals to experience the fair independently, as well as get on board the exhibitors’ mailing lists,” he said.

He added that there were plans to head to the United Arab Emirates and to comb through the globe eventually as a means of extending the event’s potential reach.

Regarding potential exhibitors at the fair, Ejoh said they were credible property development firms who would also be benefiting from advertising in the TAG EXPO luxury catalogue, and building their existing database with the contacts of Nigerians in Diaspora, furnished off the TAG EXPO network of past clients, registrants and attendees to the fair.

As an improvement on last year’s event, he said the team had launched its social media campaign as well as opened up its registration portal at tagexpo.tagnigerialtd.com to build up and disseminate information leading up to the events.
