JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – A South African group called Memelodi Concerned Residents organizing protest against immigrants has received permission to go ahead with the protest.

The organizers however said the permission comes with strict conditions. Jacob Mokomboti, a local resident however told SABC that the march is not an attack against foreigners.

“We are not against foreigners but it looks like the government today has no control over the influx of foreigners. Now if you go all over the world there is a measure of control in terms of foreigners. Today there are so many foreigners in this country and most of them are illegal,” says Mokomboti.

This is coming as foreigners including Nigerians have been maimed with properties looted and destroyed across South Africa.
