LASU SUSPENDS ADEYEMI TEMITOPE FOR RAPE, CULTISM, WARNS ON TREES

OJO, Lagos, Nigeria – Adeyemi Temitope a student of the Department of Public administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, Lagos State University, LASU has been suspended for his involvement in cultism and rape.




In a statement, Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. ‘Lanre Fagbohun said he was suspended pending judgement in his case on cultism and rape before a court in Lagos.

He has also been warned to desist from participating in any activity on campus until tje sispension os lifted.

“The Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, Prof. ‘Lanre Fagbohun, by the power conferred on him in Section 28 of the Law establishing the University has approved the recommendation of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee that Adeyemi Temitope, with Matriculation Number 100832003, Department of Public administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, be suspended with immediate effect from the University, pending the outcome of the Court judgement on the case of Cultism and Rape against him.

“Adeyemi Temitope has been WARNED NOT to participate in any Socio-Academic activities of the University until the suspension is lifted”, LASU said in the statement.

The University Management also frowned at the unnecessary destruction of trees around Faculties and Service Centres at the University Main Campus, Ojo.




It noted that the unauthorised destruction of ornamental trees and shrubs for various reasons has become common and should be stopped.

Management has therefore directed that henceforth, all issues relating to the cutting and trimming of trees/shrubs, etc, must be directed to the Head, Parks and Garden Unit of the Vice Chancellor’s Office.
