YAYAH JAHMEH ORDERS BLOCKAGE OF INTERNET IN GAMBIA

BANJUL, Gambia – There are uncomfirmed reports that Gambian Government led by Yahya Jammeh may have ordered blockage of internect communication in the Gambia.

Most of the Gambian newspapers online are no longer accessible via the internet.




This is coming on the expiration of his tenure as President of Gambia. The sit tight President whose quest for tenure elongation failed in the court has however declared a state of emergency for 90 days okayed by the lawmakers.

There are however reports that his wife and other family members are no where to be found, fuelling specilation that they might have fled the Presidential Palace amidst fear of planned invasion by the Economic Community Of West African States, ECOWAS.
