ILORIN, Nigeria – Alhaja Mahmunat Ibrahim, the mother of Alhaji Raheem Adeshina, Bureau Chief of the Nigerian Observer is dead.She was 100. She died January 1, 2017 and was buried today at the family compound in Kuntu, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Her son, Alhaja Raheem Adeshina who made the announcement said she is survived by children and grand children.
“The mother of the Lagos Bureau Chief of the Nigerian Observer newspaper, Alhaji Raheem Adeshina Ibrahim has passed on.
“Late Alhaja Mahmunat Ibrahim dead on 2nd January 2017 at their family compound, Kuntu, Ilorin.
“The remains of Alhaja Ibrahim who clocked 100 years on January 1st 2017 will bury today by 2pm at ilenla compound, Kuntu, ilorin.
“She is survived by children, grand children and great grand children”, he said in the statement.
May her gentle soul continue to rest in peace
The later Alhaja son, Alhaji Raheem Adeshina Ibrahim is now the Mogaji Onilenla in Kuntu area of Ilorin since 2021.
