ABUJA, Nigeria -Deposed Senate Majority Leader, Senator Ali Ndume on the floor of the senate today expressed his disaffection over the decision to remove him as Majority Leader.

The senator who was visibly angry with the development told the house that he was shocked that 38 of his colleagues in the All Progressive Congress, APC signed the document removing him from his exalted position.




The senator said he had prior to the development offered to resign on three occasion but that the same members urged him to carry on.

“Three times i offered to resign as Senate Leader, but you all wanted me to stay. I am shocked that 38 of my colleagues in APC signed the documents passing a vote of no confidence on me”, he said on the floor of the senate.
