ABUJA, Nigeria – Alhaji Musa Duhu, Chairman of the Adamawa State Football Association, is the only candidate for the bye-election into the NFF Executive Committee that will take place on the floor of the Congress at this weekend’s NFF annual general assembly.
The bye-election is being conducted to fill the vacancy created by the death, on 2nd March 2016, of Alhaji Hussaini Modibbo.
According to the NFF Electoral Committee headed by Barrister Sampson Ebomhe, “in line with the abridged guidelines for 2016 Bye-Election into the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), North East Zone, the screening Sub-Committee conducted the screening exercise on 6th December 2016.
“Consequently, Musa A. Duhu, the only candidate in the 2016 Bye-Election into the NFF Executive Committee, North East Zone is hereby cleared after fulfilling the entire requirements for the election.
