Nigeria, Oct 7, 2016 – Ahead of what has been described by many as the biggest UK invasion by the YBNL crew, YBNL CEO, Olamide has dished out another banger titled Orobo.
The amazing Fuji rendition was produced by Young Johnn and once again displays Olamide’s dexterity as a lyricist. His ability to communicate to his audience through relatable lyrics is just about what keeps Olamide on top of his game.
Interestingly, on this single, Olamide creatively recreates US top charting single Panda by Designer with his unique razz flavour. This is ultimately another perfect song from the rapper.
The rapper and the entire YBNL crew- Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh, Viktoh, DJ Enimoney, YBNL princess; Temmie are currently in London for the anticipated YBNL UK concert which will hold on Saturday, the 9th of October, 2016 at the Eventim Hammersmith Apollo.
Although the crew had an amazing concert in the UK last year, this will be the first time the entire YBNL family will perform on one stage in the United Kingdom and there is no telling that it will be an amazing experience!
Olamide Adedeji (born 15 March 1989), known by his stage name Olamide, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist from Bariga, Lagos State. He records mostly in Yoruba, his native tongue. The only Nigerian rapper in history to release five albums in five years, Olamide released his debut studio album Rapsodi in 2011 while signed to Coded Tunes.
YBNL, his follow-up album, was released under his label imprint YBNL Nation. Since his debut, he has released an album every year, also releasing a joint album with hip hop artist and producer, Phyno. Olamide became the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement deal with Cîroc. He has won several music awards, including multiple Nigeria Entertainment Awards and The Headies Awards.
