MET Police Special Constable, Nicholas Tweedie sentenced to 2 years jail




London, Sept, 23, 2016 – A Metropolitan Police Service Special Constable, Nicholas Tweedie, 32, has been jailed for two years for indecent image offences.

Tweedie, attached to Harrow Borough, was sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court on 16 September on three counts charge of making indecent images of children and one count of taking an indecent image of a child.

He was arrested by detectives from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command on 10 June 2016. He was subsequently charged on 28 July 2016.

Tweedie was suspended on the day that he was arrest and will now face misconduct proceedings.
