Nigeria,Sept, 02, 2016 – Management of Firstnation Airways has affirmed that the airline is currently carrying out maintenance on its A319 fleet.
In a statement, Head of Commercial, Firstnation Airways, Serah Awogbade said the maintenance exercise will be completed on or before September 15th, 2016.
“The Ai r line planned this maintenance action well ahead, notified passengers and flights are currently loaded online effective September 15th’’ , she said, adding that the development will ensure that passengers continue to enjoy safe and reliable service that the airline is reputed for .
She added that current foreign exchange constraint, coupled with over 70% devaluation of Naira partly contributed in no small measure to the development.
She said the Airline’s plan remains on track to reinstate service as advised and that Firstnation Airways is IATA IOSA certified and operates a fleet of Airbus A319.
She said the airline is aware of a press release by NCAA based on information made available to the regulator.
“At Firstnation, safety is our priority and we look forward to reinstating service shortly upon completion of current maintenance upgrade’’, she said.
