Nigeria, July 21, 2016 – Stanbic IBTC Bank, one of the foremost banks in Nigeria says it has complied with the Federal Government’s directive to remit funds, foreign and local, belonging to all Federal Government Ministries and Departments, MDAs into Treasury Single Account (TSA) with the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN).
In a letter to the Accountant General of the Federation , signed by the bank’s Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Rotimi Adojutelegan and Demola Sogunle, the bank said all funds belonging to the affected Federal MDAs have been remitted to their respective accounts with the CBN.
Stanbic IBTC Bank is a member of Standard Bank recognised as Africa’s Best Bank for Markets and Africa’s Best Bank for Wealth Management at the 2016 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, in London.
In addition, Euromoney also named Standard Bank as the Best Bank in Uganda, (Stanbic Uganda) and in Zambia, (Stanbic Zambia).
