Hi-Impact Planet is different and unique. I usually travel with my kids every year but this time around, with the economic downturn, heavy devaluation of the Naira as well as soaring travel rates, it has become almost impossible to travel this year and so I brought them (kids) here and I am so happy I get to spend less and have a wonderful time like I would have had anywhere in the world
Nigeria, July 19, 2016 – The role leisure time plays in the sustenance of life cannot be overemphasized, hence chief executives of multinational companies set aside time for relaxation to ease off routine anxiety associated with their very busy schedules.
No wonder millions of Dollars are spent on leisure every year. According to the World Tourism Council, tourism in 2014 produced over US$6 trillion while providing 221 million jobs around the world, with an expectation that it will be providing about 269 million jobs in the preceding years.
Tourism and economic development go hand-in-hand. It is in line with the vision of enhancing sustainable development and boosting the economy of Nigeria that the Hi-Impact Planet (HIP), the first of its kind was born.
The park comparable to the likes of Europa-park and Walt Disney was launched 18th of December, 2015 when it was opened to the public for the first time. Hi-Impact Planet is home to thrilling outdoor rides and exciting indoor games, well positioned for children and the whole family to have a fun-filled experience.
We cannot afford to run on national grid or PHCN as we know it, this is due to the sensitive nature of the games and the need to assure the customers that the games are safe. Just imagine if a ride is air borne and there is power failure!!It is to this end that we ensure that there is uninterrupted power supply powering each of our games with diesel run generators
It is loaded with state-of-the-arts facilities such as multi-purpose halls, clinic, luxurious apartments, food courts, souvenir shop, uninterrupted power supply and adequate security to ensure smooth operations of the entire facility and safety of all.
What you find here are not available elsewhere. As you stroll into the park, you are welcomed by the African-themed animatronics, a roaring life-sized lions and Zulu warriors. On the side you find a water spraying elephant, colorful and elegant water fountains coupled with a gigantic gorilla.
Hi-Impact Planet is unique with exclusive arrays of games well positioned to bequeath a memorable experience that range from the Enterprise, to the Freestyler, Hoopla and a 40 meter-high Ferris wheel. Hi- Impact Planet Amusement Park which is situated on approximately 185,000 square meter is strategically located 10 minutes away from the Lagos tollgate.
Speaking on choice of location, the managing director, Prince Adeyeloye Lipede noted that “theme parks and amusement parks worldwide are located at the outskirts of town.
According to him, the land mass required to build an amusement park of this size is most likely to be located in the outskirts. Besides, “the experience of journeying in anticipation of the fun and excitement is part of the adventure and thrill that Hi-Impact Planet offers.”
The park also boasts of well-furnished luxurious self-serviced apartments where guests can spend a weekend or come on holidays if they desire. There are multi-purpose halls which could be used for social activities and events, food courts which carter for customers with diverse culinary delights, and a 24- hour clinic and souvenir shop
