Nigeria, July 7, 2016 – Former Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Omololu Olunloyo (PhD) has denounced his daughter, Kemi Omololu Olunloyo and dissociated himself from her write ups in the social media.

The former governor said he is denouncing her for orchestrating various scandalous writings in the social media to discredit him, family members and other prominent Nigerians in the social media.

Kemi Omololu Olunloyo, he said has libeled individuals like former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo, General Overseer, Synagogue Church of All Nations, Pastor Temitope Joshua, Oyo State Governor, Chief Abiola Ajumobi, renowned Cinematographer, Tunde Kelani and reputable actor/ filmmaker, Prince Jide Kosoko, all of whom he accused of various sexual offences, labeling them randomly as ritualists.

“I would like to apologise without reservations to all persons affected. I hope and pray they would graciously accept the apology… None of us, of course as far as I know, is anything of that sort. She has gone so far to accuse us of various sexual crimes and gone too far to give the social media itself a dubious name in terms of uncontrolled freedom to assault others”, he said.

He said the late Ooni of Ife, Oba Sijuade had bailed her out of prison custody, adding that at 52, her mental state is nothing to be proud of.

“In the last four weeks or so, she had the audacity to pass irrelevant and hopeless comments on one of our national talented artistes, Prince Jide Kosoko, whom I admire so much, calling him black widower as he has unfortunately lost three wives… I think this and all the intra and extra family attacks are unprovoked, irresponsible and unwarranted”, the former governor wrote, adding that he dissociates himself from her conduct and statements.

“She had serially embarrassed me at one time or the other in the United States. Every big family sometimes contain awkward members. I apologised unreservedly to all those whom these things have offended and those who have helped like Tunde Kelani”, he said adding that Kemi does not know the meaning and dangers of freedom.

“I hereby denounce and dissociate myself from all her views against individuals and groups, individual spiritual icons and private individuals. She must accept responsibility for her actions and utterances as well as the consequences. My condemnation is total and not in any stances defensible. I denounce her totally and dissociate myself from all her reckless utterances. My position is absolutely clear”, he insisted.
