Nigeria, May 19, 2016 – Heartland General Manager Mr. Oscar Keke has urged players to rise up to the occasion in Enugu. Speaking in his office during a brief meeting with the team before they departed for Enugu, Keke commended the players for their untiring effort and urged them to give their best in Enugu.
He emphasized the importance of ending the first stanza well as it will serve as a psychological boost ahead of the second stanza.
“Gentlemen you did your best against Plateau United unfortunately it was not good enough. But we can compensate our fans with a good result in Enugu”
He urged them to approach the game with a positive mentality to ensure victory.
Meanwhile Heartland FC of Owerri has appointed Mazi George Okoro as new team manager.
Mazi George Okoro succeeds Promise Nwachukwu, he was before this appointment the Assistant Team Manager in charge of Team B. Mazi Okoro was a pioneer member of the Spartans of Owerri in 1976
