Nigeria, May 17, 2016 – Heartland Football Club has appealed to the League Management Company (LMC) to move the oriental derby between Heartland and Enugu rangers in order to allow their players enough time to rest.

The players led by the captain Chinedu Efugh expressed their displeasure over the incident “we came back from Kano last night “lamented the skipper “and we are expected to play on Wednesday and Friday again”.

The skipper appealed to the authorities to have a human face by moving the game. He questioned the rationale behind the postponement of Ranger’s game with Elkanemi while insisting that Heartland should play on Friday night.

Meanwhile the management of Heartland FC has appealed against the proposed Friday night game on the ground that it will give undue advantage to Rangers International.
