CAMEROONIAN ATTEMPTS SUICIDE IN LAGOS

A man who was electrocuted before help could reach him




Nigeria, May 5, 2016 – A young man from Cameroon, whose names is not known today attempted to take his life in Lagos when he climbed a high powered electric cable in the Lekki axis.

It not clear what would have pushed into attempting to take his life but we gathered that the man was however rescued with minor injuries and rushed to hospital for medical attention.

Confirming the incident, Director of Fire, Lagos State Fire Service, Engineer Rasaq Fadipe said the incident took place at Elf Bus Stop on the Lekki- Ajah axis.

He said his men arrived the scene on time and succeeded in rescuing him alive from the high tension electric cable.
