Nigeria, April 2, 2016 – The Peoples Democratic Party)PDP) today condemned President Muhammadu Buhari for embarking on a trip to the United States of America for Nuclear Summit, while Nigerians are suffering in the midst of unprecedented fuel scarcity.

The PDP made the condemnation on its official tweeter page, wherein the party asserted that “ a serious president will cancel a foreign trip when his or her country is in such a crisis, but not Buhari”, the party said.

The party also posted photographs of long queue of tricycles at a petrol station waiting endlessly to get fuel for business.
President Buhari has been in the US in the last three days for Nuclear Summit in Washington.

At the summit, Buhari met with leading members of the President Obama’s cabinet, notably, Secretary of State, John Kerry who promised grant in aid to the tune of $600 million to Nigeria for economic development.
