US, April 29, 2016 – Congressman Bill Shuster (R-PA), Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and delegate for the 9th Congressional District has announced his endorsement of Donald Trump for President.
“The people of the 9th Congressional District, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and states across the nation have made their voices heard, and I join them in supporting Donald Trump for President. Donald is a private sector business leader who knows what it takes to get things done – and that is something that Washington desperately needs. Donald also shares my passion for economic development, including making sure our nation’s infrastructure meets the needs of our citizens. It’s time for our party to unite behind Donald Trump and focus our time and energy on defeating Hillary Clinton’’, he said.
Speaking on the endorsement, Trump said, “I am proud today to have the endorsement of Congressman Bill Shuster. Congressman Bill Shuster will also be serving as a delegate at the Republican Convention after being elected as one of the three delegates for the 9th Congressional District earlier this week.
