March 29, 2016 – Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, better known as ‘Super Minister’, got the shocker of his life at the 8th colloquium organised to mark the 64th birthday of national leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Fashola, the only minister saddled with three ministries in President Muhammadu Buhari’s government got the back seat. No seat was reserved for him on the front row.
The development, according to sources confirm the insinuation that Fashola is not in the good books of Tinubu.
He was however not the only minister given second rate treatment at the birthday ceremony.
Minister for Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammed also got the back seat treatment, likewise the Minister for Solid Minerals, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
Those who had the front row were governors. They are the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello; Bauchi State Governor, Barr. Mohammed Abubakar and Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi. Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar.

Also at the event was former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba who left the All Progressive Congress(APC) to form Accord Party (AP) in the last election. He is said to be making his way back to APC.
Others are Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu I; the Celebrant and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife, Senator Femi Tinubu, former Ekiti State Governor, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Minister of Science & Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onus, Senator Adeola Olamilekan, members, House of Representatives, Hon. Samson Bamidele Baderinwa, Hon. Oyewole Babafemi Diya, Senator Gbenga Ashafa, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke and a host of others.
