Nigeria, March 9, 2016 – Stylish singer J’Bryte has released his cover to Rihanna’s smash hit single ‘Work’. The song titled ‘Chop Chop’ sees the versatile artiste seamlessly flow over the beat, fusing different styles into the music.

Derek Ajibola.S., popularly known as J’Bryte, was born on the 10th of April in Lagos state. He is originally from the South Western part of Nigeria, Ogun state to be precise.

He is a natural-born and talented songwriter, singer and dancer. He is influenced by Michael Jackson, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Femi Kuti, Hugh Masekela, Usher Raymond and more.

He participated in the 1st edition of Nokia First Chance music competition. He has also worked with some well-known artistes, producers, directors, choreographers and more all in the entertainment industry in and outside the shores of the country, including Vector, Samklef, Sagzy, Rayce, Taiyel, Lamboginny, Sandaz Black, DJ Eazy, Phantombeats, Buck3000, Shogun, Gabriel Afolayan, Igho, So sick, Puffy Tee, General Pype, Morachi, laylow, Gino, SSP (Sir Shina Peters), Masterplan ‘MP’, Black Solo, Mikky Dube (South Africa), Muno, and many more.

He is creative, highly flexible, humble and innovative; his versatility makes him unique, and stands out as an entertainer. His versatility has seen him explore different genres such as Afro Beats, Afro Pop, Brit Pop, Highlife, R&B and Dancehall.
